Our Story: How We Got Our Start Blue Planet started as a business college project at the University of Hawaii Manoa in 1993. The goal was to create unique, high-quality surf gear for surfers by surfers – an objective that has remained constant over the years.

What Makes Our Products Unique Our design process begins from the ground up, focused on providing excellent value and functionality. We extensively test various gear for inspiration, striving to improve upon existing offerings and implement continuous enhancements with each new iteration.
